High Blood Pressure May Take You Out of Your Convenience Zone

That means I grew up eating bacon and utilizing the fat left over for other dishes. Most of the time it came from a side of beef that we saved in our freezer.

That was my comfort zone and while I did tone some of it back, that's the method I cooked for my household. Realizing that I was seriously obese altered that. One of my children sat me down and informed me that if I didn't change the way I was cooking (and consuming) she was terrified I would pass away. Let me inform you, that gets you from your convenience zone without even changing things.

Work: I was doing the exact same job back then. It means sitting at a computer for hours at a time. By the time I was finished the last thing I wished to do is cook from scratch a well balanced meal. I discovered something. It's just as much fun to prepare using healthy ingredients as it is using their equivalents. It also tastes better.

Home: This is a little bit of a hard location to change as both my partner and I work from home. It's a lot more difficult to quit considering the job and move on with things that need done. We've had to make a way to do that.

Way of life Modification: That's exactly what it is all about. My blood pressure when I was offered that mother/daughter talk was 178/123. In order to bring it down I needed to alter everything, not just what we consumed.

I'm using myself as an example however I envision many of you reading this article have a couple of issues that require altered. It may take getting out of your comfort zone. In truth, it most likely should. Don't wait for somebody to tell you that your actions might be eliminating you. Start now, prior to it is far too late.
